My Dear Parishioners,
Hope you are all keeping well.
In keeping with the guidelines advised by the New Zealand Government for places of worship, I am pleased to inform you Holy Cross Parish Pastoral Council unanimously agreed to re-commence the Celebration of Holy Mass at Holy Cross Church Henderson from the 6pm Saturday Vigil Mass on 11th December 2021. However we are required to comply with specific regulations of the New Zealand Government.
Therefore, kindly take note few aspects we are required to follow in Church at all times under the current ‘traffic light system, Red’
Sunday Mass times beginning Sunday 12th December 2021 are 7am, 9am, 10.30am and 6pm
Following are the New Zealand Government instructions for places of worship, which Holy Cross Parish Henderson, Auckland and all who attend Church are required to comply with.
Only 100 persons with ‘vaccine pass’ will be allowed for each Mass into Church on a first come, first served basis.
Your individual ‘vaccine pass’ will be checked prior to your entry into the Church. Please have your vaccine pass available for inspection. Those without a ‘vaccine pass’ will not be allowed into the Church for the abovementioned Masses.
In order to accommodate those ‘without’ a vaccine pass, who would like to attend Mass, however are yet to be vaccinated, a Sunday Mass at 7pm, will be celebrated. Entry will be on a first come first basis and limited to 25 persons.
While Holy Cross Parish Pastoral Council welcomes your individual pastoral needs, it appreciates your understanding that Holy Cross Parish Henderson, is simply observing the New Zealand Government Ministry of Health protocols, it is obligated to comply with.
In regards to the celebration of daily Masses at Holy Cross Church Henderson, this will be advised in due course.
